May Yeung Jewelry was born of a passion for fashion, accessories, entrepreneurship and philanthropy. From the time that she could remember, the designer and co-founder, May Yeung, was the “go-to” person on everything style or fashion related. She showed this natural ability and fascination with an 18-year successful career in the fashion and accessories industry. May honed her design and merchandising craft at companies such as Liz Claiborne, Monet Jewelry, and 1928 Jewelry. At the same time, her sister Kathy was sharpening her business acumen building an executive career in the world of business and technology at companies such as Oversee.net.
As long-time collaborators, the two sisters embarked on a journey to create a company that would appeal to the modern and confident woman who desired sophisticated and timeless design style. May’s vision was to create stylish and versatile jewelry fitting for everyday wear, professional attire, an evening out on the town or for special occasions.
The result was May Yeung Jewelry, a company dedicated to creating polished designs to accessorize any outfit for every occasion. With a vision of elegance and individuality for the modern woman, May derives much of the inspiration for her collections from the dear friends in her life that embody timeless sophistication. The four muses of May Yeung Jewelry’s collections, Kara, Joanne, Liz and Viviana, personify the company’s authentic style.
